Using Story Face Strategy in Narrative Texts Solution

A lot of materials are used during the educational activities. Researches reveal the fact that the most commonly used type among these materials are the written texts that are among the written materials. The structure of the written texts divide into two groups such as expository and narrative. In the educational activities, the acquirements in cognitive level that are usually given through written materials are tried to transfer to the students through expository texts, and other acquirements; such as value and attitude, which are related to sensitive field are tried to transfer to the students through narrative texts. Strategies are used for pointing out what kind of a method should the reader follow while working on the text. The structure of the text appears as the basic variable in determining the strategy to follow during the reading process. The story face strategy is one that is used to help the text solution during the reading of the narrative texts. The pattern used in the story face strategy consists of the elements of the human face.
