Türk Turistlerin Profili: Yurtdışını Ziyaret Eden Türk Vatandaşlara Yönelik Bir Araştırma

Uluslararası turizm hareketliliği ve etkisi her geçen gün büyümekte ve bununla birlikte turizm en önemli sektörler arasında yer almaktadır. Böylece turizm hareketliliğinden faydalanmak isteyen birçok ülke tercih edilebilir bir destinasyon olmaya çalışmaktadır. Bu durum uluslararası seyahate katılan insanların daha iyi tanınmasını ve çözümlenmesini beraberinde getirmektedir. Ayrıca destinasyon seçiminde etkili olan faktörlerin ne olduğu ve bu etkilerin sonuçları iyi çözümlenmelidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı yurtdışını ziyaret eden Türk vatandaşlarının profilini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla TUİK’ten elde edilen veriler derlenerek Yurtdışını ziyaret eden vatandaşların profili geniş kapsamda belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada, 2012-2018 yılları arasında, yurtdışını ziyaret eden vatandaş sayısının arttığı, kişi başı harcama ve geceleme sayısının azaldığı, gidiş nedenine ve geceleme süresine göre ülkelerin farklılık gösterdiği gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmada eğitim, gelir, ziyaret dönemi, harcama ve konaklama türü gibi değişkenler çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

The Profile of Turkish Tourists: A Research on Turks Travelling Abroad

International tourism mobility and its impact is growing day by day and tourism is among the most important sectors. Thus, many countries that want to benefit from tourism mobility are trying to be a preferable destination. This leads to better recognition and analysing of international tourists. In addition, the factors that influence the choice of destination and the results of these effects should be analyzed well. The aim of this study is to determine the profile of Turkish citizens visiting abroad. With this aim, the data obtained from TURKSTAT has been compiled and the profile of the citizens visiting abroad has been tried to be determined in a wide extent. In this study, between 2012-2018, it was concluded that the number of citizens visiting abroad increased, the number of spending and overnight stays decreased and the countries differed according to the reason of outgoing and overnight stay. In addition, variables such as education, income, visiting period, spending and accommodation type were tried to be analyzed.
