Türkçe'deki ünsüzlerin edinimi: Bir norm çalışması

Bu makale, standart Türkçe’deki ünsüz seslerin edinimi konusunda bir norm çalışmasıdır. Türkçe’de çocukların artikülasyon/fonolojik becerilerini ölçmek amaçlı geliştirilip standardize edilen ve bir resim isimlendirme testi olan Ankara Artikülasyon Testi’ne 2-12 yaşları arasındaki 2568 çocuğun verdikleri yanıtlar, yaş grupları, cinsiyet, sesin sözcük içindeki konumu ve üç öğrenme düzeyi açısından incelenmiş (vasat kullanım, edinim ve ustalık), 2-8 yaşları arasındaki 1359 çocuğun yanıtları bu çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Ayrıca, çocukların fonemik envanterleri de çözümlenmiştir. Sonuçlar yaş grupları ve cinsler arasında anlamlı farklar göstermezken, erkeklerin tutarlı olarak kızlardan fazla hata yaptıklarını ve her iki cinsiyetin konuşmadaki sesleri edinim konusunda farklı tercihlerinin bulunduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Seslerin sözcük içindeki pozisyonları açısından doğru kullanımda ise, küçük yaş gruplarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar görülmüştür. Çocukların sesleri edinimlerini cinsiyet farkları, sesin sözcük içindeki konumu ve farklı öğrenme düzeyleri açısından incelemenin yararlı olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.
