Ağır ikter tablosu ile seyreden bir sıtma olgusu
Sıtma vakaları, Türkiye’de Doğu Akdeniz ve Güney Doğu Anadolu bölgelerinde daha sık, diğer bölgelerde ise nadir olarak görülebilmektedir. En sık tespit edilen etken dünyada ve Türkiye’de Plasmodium vivax’tır. Sıtma dünyada en sık ölüme yol açan enfeksiyonlar arasında beşinci sırada yer almaktadır. Seyahat ile ilişkili olarak hem Plasmodium falciparum’a bağlı olgulara hemde P. vivax olgularına giderek daha sık rastlanmaktadır. Burada P. vivax’a bağlı importe sıtma olgusu sunulmaktadır.
A malaria case with serious iıcterus
Malaria has frequently been seen in the East Mediterranean and Southeast Anatolia and rarely seen in other regions. Both in the world and Turkey the most seen agent is Plasmodium vivax. Malaria is the fifth infection in the world that leads to death. Associated with travel Plasmodium falciparum and also P.vivax cases have been seen more and more often. An importe P.vivax case is presented in this article.
