DİJİTAL ÇAĞIN HİYEROGLİFLERİ: EMOJİLER

İletişim teknolojilerinde yaşanan değişimle, sınırların ortadan kalkarak zaman mekân engellerinin dahi aşıldığı yeni bir medya evreninde yaşamaktayız. İletişimin dijitalize olmasıyla insani duyguların yansıması da bu dijital ortamda kendine yer bulmuştur. İnsanın kendini ifade ederken kelimeleri kifayetsiz bulduğunda bilinçli veya bilinçsiz olarak başvurduğu beden dili, internet ortamında yeni bir çehreye bürünmüştür. Duygu ve düşüncelerin ifade edilmesinde neredeyse tüm internet kullanıcılarının başvurduğu emojiler, beden dilinin dijitalize olmuş haliyle karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İnsanoğlunun kendini ifade etmede ilkçağlardan beri başvurduğu resim ve imgeler, dijital çağda yine en iyi ifade araçlarından biri olarak kabul görmektedir. İnteraktivitenin de etkisiyle her geçen yıl genişleyen emoji sözlüğü, ekstra zaman ve çaba harcamadan herkes tarafından bilinen küresel bir dilin oluşumunun yolunu açmıştır. Bu çalışmada, emojilerin beden diliyle olan bağlantısı açıklanarak, emojilerin kullanım amaçları incelenmiştir.

We are living in a new media universe that by exceeding the limits and spacetime with changes taking place in communications technology. Communication with being digitized, a reflection of humanistic emotions find place in the digital environment. Body language that while a person express oneself consciously or unconsciously employed, it has taken a new face on the internet environment. In the expression of feelings and thoughts, almost all internet users refers to emojis that have emerged a form of body language has been digitized. While in human beings are expressing themselves, pictures and images of the applicants since the ancient times, they are regarded as one of the best means of expression in the digital age also. With the effect of interactivity, every year expanding emoji dictionary paved the way for the formation of a global language that without spending extra time and effort and known by everyone. In this study, it has been examined intented purpose of emojis, by explaned connection with the body language of emojis.
