Batı toplumlarında yabancıya öteden beri soğuk bakılır. Bu yabancı, Türk ve kadınsa Batı’da işi gerçekten zordur. Toplumsal zorlukları en fazla yaşayan, ilk önce bedeni ve cinselliğiyle anılan hep odur. Bu makale, Batı’nın yabancıya, Türk kimliğine ve Türk kadınına mesafeli bakışının kökenlerini, klişeleşmiş yargılarını inceler ve bu yargıları Almanca Türk Edebiyatında yazılan bazı romanların kadın kahramanlarının sözleriyle örnekler.

Foreigners have for a long time not welcome in western societies. If this foreigner is Turkish and a woman, her struggle is very hard in the west. She is the one who is initially recalled for her body and sexuality and who suffers from sdcial difficulties the most. This article exemines the roots of the prejeduce and distance in the western point of view to the foreigner, to Turkish identity and Turkish woman and exemplifies this prejeduge with words of heroins in some of the novels written in the German Turkish Literature.
