Gümüşhane Süleymaniye (Ulu) Mosque, Its Fountain, Cemetery and Tahir Efendi Mausoleum

Having situated in the centre of Old Gümüşhane, Süleymaniye (Ulu) Mosque forms a small Ottoman-social complex with its cemetery, fountain and Haci Tahir Efendi Mausoleum. Süleymaniye Mosque is a wooden columned one without an epigraph. Without grounding on any document, it is specified as a 16 th century mosque built by Kanuni Sultan Süleyman. The fountain attached to the mosque wall has two curls and a bay of arch. There are nine printed tombstones in the treasure. The tombstones carrying late Ottoman art features are important cultural values. The square planned mausoleum is closed with a dome and the
