Dental restorasyonlar, diş çürüğünün tüm dünyadaki geniş yaygınlığı sebebiyle kuşkusuz diş hekimliği ilminin en değerli parçalarından biridir. Aslında, bu önem yalnızca fokal enfeksiyon odağı oluşturması sebebiyle temel halk sağlığı açısından değil aynı zamanda tedavinin yüksek maliyeti ile de ilintilidir. Çağdaş diş hekimliğinde restorasyon döngüsü olarak isimlendirilen terim sonuçta dişin çekimine sebep olacağından; bu tedavi şekli, dental-klinik-genel sağlık ve maliyet açısından iyi kritik edilmelidir. Dental restorations is, of course, one of the most valuable part of the dentalsciences due to huge prevalance of dental caries all over the world. Actually, this importance are not only related with the basic-public health, yielding focal infection; but also with high cost of the treatment. Because, in contemporary dentistry, the term “restoration cycle” would consequently lead to extraction of the teeth; this type of treatment should primarily been critized with respect to clinical-medical-dental and cost.
