19. yüzyılın başında işgalci güçlerin desteğiyle Filistin toprakları üzerinde bir Siyonist devlet kurma girişimleri başlatılmıştır. Özellikle1967 Haziran yenilgisinden sonra gerek Filistin gerekse diğer Arap topraklarının büyük bir bölümü işgal edilince şairler, yaşanan bu trajedinin dışında kalamayacakları düşüncesiyle romantik dünyalarını bırakıp işgali sona erdirmek ve kaybedilen toprakları geri almak için kalemleriyle mücadele etmeye başlamışlardır. Bu çalışmamızda kalemlerini bir silah olarak kullanan Filistinli direniş şairlerinin başında yer alan Fedvâ Tûkân ve Mahmûd Derviş’in şiirlerinde direniş temasını inceledik. Her iki şairin işgale karşı direnmek, halkın moralini yüksek tutmak, azim ve kararlıklarını sürdürmek ve düşmanı tehdit etmek için hangi anlatım teknikleri kullandıkları konusu üzerinde durulmuştur.

At the beginning of the 19th century, in the lands of Palestine and with the support of the occupying forces, there was an initiative to build a Zionist state. Especially, after the defeat in June 1967, a large part of the Palestinian and other Arab lands were occupied and the poets of the time decided to fight with their pens to get back their lands thinking that they could not live with that tragedy. This study focuses on two poets of Palestinian Resistance, Mahmud Darwish and Fadwa Touqan, examining how they used their pens and what themes they had to fight against this occupation. This study also deals with on their strategies to resist the occupation, to keep people’s morale high, to maintain resolution of the people, and to threat the enemy.
