TÜRKİYE VARLIK FONU İÇİN BİR UYGULAMA ÖRNEĞİ: SİNGAPUR TEMASEK HOLDİNG

Temasek Holding, 1974 yılında Singapur Devleti’nin ekonomik faaliyetlerini tamamen devlet tüzelkişiliğinden ayırma amacına matuf olarak, iktisadi işletmeler özgülenmek suretiyle kurulmuştur. 2010’luyıllardan itibaren Türkiye, Romanya, Bangladeş ve Hindistan gibi ülkelerin benzeri varlık fonları kurmasıbağlamında Temasek Holding, tekrar incelenmesi gereken bir varlık fonu olarak görülmektedir. 2016 yılınınAğustos ayında ihdas edilen Türkiye Varlık Fonu için 40 yılı aşkın tecrübeye sahip Temasek Holding’deciddi misaller bulunmaktadır. Türkiye Varlık Fonu’nun barındırdığı hukuki problemlerin çözülmesi zordeğildir. Temasek Holding tecrübesinden faydalanılması bu işi daha da kolaylaştıracaktır.

AN APPLICATION EXAMPLE FOR TURKISH WEALTH FUND: SINGAPORE TEMASEK HOLDING

In 1974, Temasek Holding was established in an effort to separate the economic activities of the Singapore State from the state’s legal entity by specifiying an economic enterprise. With the establishment similar asset funds in countries such as Turkey, Romania, Bangladesh and India in 2010s Temasek Holding is seen as a wealth fund which is worth re-examine. Temasek Holding with a 40 years of experience would be good example for Turkey which was established a Wealth Fund in August 2016. It is not difficult to solve the legal problems Turkey’s Wealth Fund, moreover utilizing Temasek Holding's experience will make it even easier.
