UNDERSTANDING THE RELATION OF CONTEMPORARY HUMAN BEING WITH NATURE IN TERMS OF THINKING AND EXISTENCE THROUGH FRANK BAUM’S THE WIZARD OF OZ

Bu makalede, ilkin, düşünme bakımından çağdaş insanın dummu ortaya konmaya çalışılır. Bunun ardından, hakiki anlamda düşünmenin, ancak düşünmenin şiir ile ortak kökenleri keşfedildiğinde başarılabileceği öne sürülür. Üçüncü ve son olarak, Frank Baum'un Oz Büyücüsü adlı masalmdan yola çıkılarak çağımız insanının doğa ve diğer canlılarla ilişkisi ve onun varoluşu betimlenmeye çalışılır.

DÜŞÜNME VE VAROLUŞ BAKIMINDAN ÇAĞDAŞ İNSANIN DOĞAYLA BAĞINI FRANK BAUM’UN OZ BÜYÜCÜSÜ MASALI YOLUYLA ANLAMAK

In this article, at first, situation of the contemporary human being is tried to be presented in terms of thinking. To describe the situation of thinking in contemporary age several references are made to Martin H d gg ’ wo . I gu d h h o d nct features of the human being of the modern times are thoughtlessness and spiritlessness, because in modern times thought and spirit are reduced to culture. The activity of thinking turned into a business activity. To overcome this situation the reason for the fact of spiritual deprivation of modern human being is tried to be found. Then, it is explored that thinking in its true meaning can be accomplished only by the exploration of the common origins of thinking and poetry. Accordingly, the pseudo conflict between philosophy and poetry is criticized. Thirdly and finally, it is discussed that the reductions mentioned above result in transformations of he relation between human being and nature. To develop an acceptable relation between human being and nature the common root of y ho nd ph o ophy nd d. S ng f o F n B u ’ f y The Wizard of Oz the relation between human being and other living beings and existence of human being are tried to be described. In conclusion, antropological and antropophanic approaches to the nature and to the living beings other than human being are criticized
