Bu araștırmada, ebeveynin problem çözme becerisini geliștirecek bir eğitim programının hazırlanması ve bu programın etkiliğinin sınanması amaçlanmıștır. Bu amaçdoğrultusunda İstanbul ilinden seçilen 20 deney ve 20 kontrol grubunda olmak üzere toplam 40 denekle çalıșılmıștır. Araștırmada öntest-sontest uygulamaları için ProblemÇözme Envanteri, Aile Hayatı ve Çocuk Yetiștirme Tutumu Ölçeği kullanılmıștır. Deneklerde; yașlarının 20-40 arasında olması, en az lise mezunu ve okul öncesi dönemdeçocuğunun bulunması șartı aranmıștır. Eğitim programı haftada bir gün 90 dakika süre ile 10 oturumda gerçekleștirilmiștir. Veriler; çift yönlü varyans analizi ve t-testi teknikleriyle incelenmiștir. Bulgularda, Problem Çözme Envanteri puanlarının ve Demokratik Davranma ve Eșitlik Tanıma boyutu dıșında Aile Hayatı ve Çocuk Yetiștirme Tutumu Ölçeği’nin diğer 4 boyutu (Așırı Koruyucu Annelik Boyutu, Ev Kadınlığını Reddetme Boyutu, Karı&Koca Geçimsizliği Boyutu, Baskı ve Disiplin Boyutu) açısından deneygrubu sontest puanlarının, deney grubu öntest ve kontrol grubu öntest-sontest puanlarından anlamlı düzeyde farklılaștığı tespit edilmiștir.“Ebeveynin Problem ÇözmeBecerisini Geliștirme Programı” nın problem çözme becerisinin geliștirilmesinde etkili olduğu ve bu etkinin anne-babalığa ilișkin yașantıya ve ebeveynliğin farklı boyutlarındaolumlu değișikliğe yol açtığı görülmüștür.

The purpose of this study is to prepare an education program that develop parentsproblem solving skill and to test its efficiency. In order to reach this goal, 20 for theexperiment and 20 for the control groups making a total of forty subjects from theIstanbul have been analyzed. “Problem Solving Inventory”, “Family Life and ChildRearing Attitudes Scale” were used for pre and post-test applications. The samples inexperiment and control groups were consisted of people between the ages of 20-to 40years at least graduated from high school and have children in preschool period. Thedeveloped program was applied in 10 sessions that took 90 minutes per week. In order toanalyze the data t-test and ANOVA 2x2 were used. Data, obtained from Problem SolvingInventory scores and 4 scales of “Family Life and Child Rearing Attitudes Scale” (thescales of Over Protective Motherhood, Refusing Being Housewife, SpouseIncompatibility, Pressure and Discipline), excluding Democratic Act and Equality,showed that subject group’s post test scores were significantly different from subjectgroup’s pre-test, control group’s pre and post test scores.“Parent’s Problem Solving Skill Development Program” was found effective inorder to develop parent’s problem solving skill and this effect made positive changes onparenthood life.Key words: Problem, problem solving, parental attitudes
