The relationship between fiscal impulse and economic growth: A causality analysis on Turkish economy (1980-2010)

This paper, as the first study in literature for Turkey, investigates the relationship between fiscal impulse and economic growth by using an annual data for the period of 1980-2010 in Turkey. The results show that there is a one-sided causality between fiscal impulse and economic growth. It is from three different fiscal impulse indicators to economic growth, but not from economic growth to these indicators.
