JEOLOJİK MİRAS VE TÜRKİYE JEOSİTLERİ ÇATI LİSTESİ

Jeosit ve onun daha özel hali olan Jeolojik Miras kayaç, fosil, mineral, istif, yapı vb. somutobjeler olup, yerkürenin geçirdiği önemli olayların ürünleri veya belgeleridir. Çatı Liste isejeositlerin temsil ettiği olayların ifadesi olup, yer adı verilmeksizin onların belirlenmesiişidir. Her ülke için bir tane Çatı Liste bulunur. Bu çalışma ile Türkiye için önerilen ÇatıListe on grup veya kategori içinde seksen beş (85) başlık (= çatı) kapsamaktadır. En çokçatı stratigrafi ile volkanik ve metamorfik olaylar kategorilerinde bulunmaktadır.JEMIRKO'ya önerilmiş ancak kesinleşmemiş jeosit sayısı ise 815'tir. Bunların çoğunluğuda stratigrafi ve volkanizma kategorilerindedir

GEOLOGICAL HERITAGE AND FRAMEWORK LIST OF THE GEOSITES IN TURKEY

Geosites and the special type of geosite called geological heritage are tangible materialssuch as rocks, fossils, minerals, sedimentary sequences, or structures about which thereare results and/or documents of significant events in the geological history. A FrameworkList deciphers the geological events of the past without mentioning the localities or results.Ideally, there is only one Framework List for every country. The Framework List forTurkey proposed by this study includes 85 titles (frame) in 10 categories. The Stratigraphicand Volcanic-Metamorphic-Sedimentary Petrology categories are the richest for theFrameworks; however they two already contain the majority of the geosites in theJEMIRKO inventory, which contains a total of 815 geosites
