The text whose translation is presented here consists of Derrida's talking in a seminar. In this aforementioned seminar, Derrida critizes Heidegger's thesis which is shaped by the stone being worldless, animal being poor-in-world and human being world-constructing especially in the work titled Die Grundbegriffe der Metaphysik. Welt-Endlichkeit-Einsamkeit (Winter semester 1929/30). Derrida being directed to the animal problematic in philosophy in his late philosophical era of his life both makes him show interest in Heidegger's work and causes this problematic to be up-to-date in philosophy. Derrida's critics of Heidegger's understanding of als-Struktur over the concept of animal opens up another dimension more deeply in discussing this up-to-date problematic
