In the following text Heidegger's speech, "Rectorate Address," and one of his most referred works "Being and Time" as well as "Introduction to Metaphysics"; concepts and assertions such as "national socialism", "conscience", "belief" and "faith", "decision", "history" and "humans as social beings actualizing themselves" are studied and presented in an analytical manner. Herewith, besides evaluating critically Heidegger's monumental work, we elaborate and evaluate, to some extend, the general outlook of German philosophical thought of the 1930ies.
