The sphere is not only a geometrical object, it is an area, it is a space, it is an atmosphere; it seizes everything. The sphere represents integral and substantial possibilities for the conception of being and with respect to these qualities it became a point of interest for Empedokles and Parmenides. Man builds his spheres, atmospheres and also lives in them.
