Bilim-din ilişkisi nasıl ele alınabilir?

20. yüzyılda yeni fiziğin öncülüğünde gelişen ve halen şekillenmeye devam eden çağdaş doğa düşüncesi, felsefe-bilim'den dine ve sosyal bilimlere uzanan geniş bir alana nüfuz etmiştir. Bu çalışma, düşünce tarihinin en eski ve önemli tartışma alanlarından biri olan bilim-din ilişkisinin 20. yüzyılda, çağdaş doğa düşüncesinin oluşturduğu yeni zeminde nasıl bir görünüm arz ettiğini incelemeye odaklanmış, bilim-din ilişkisini çatışma-uyum eksenli geleneksel açıklama modellerinin ötesinde farklı açılardan ele alabilme imkânlarını soruşturmayı amaçlamıştır.

How can science religion relations be examined?

The contemporary perception of nature that has been shaped basically by the claims of the new physics throughout the twentieth century and still continues to evolve at the present time has permeated into a wide range of areas from philosophy and science to religion and the social sciences. This article focuses both on the investigation of the relationship between science and religion, which is one of the oldest and most important issues of controversy in the universal history of intellectual endeavor, and on the general view that is formed by the contemporary perception of nature. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the possibilities of approaching the relationship between religion and science from different angles beyond the traditional explanatory models of the conflict-harmony axis.
