Bu çalışmada ilköğretim fen ve teknoloji öğretmenlerinin iç kaynaklı iş tatmin düzeylerinin ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, karşılaştırmalı ilişkisel tarama modeli ve tesadüfî örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu İstanbul ilinde çalışan 204 fen ve teknoloji öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Minnesota İş Tatmin Ölçeği (MİTÖ) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda okul türü, araç sahibi olma, oturduğu eve kira verme, ailesinde başka öğretmen olması, lisansüstü eğitim alma ve fen ve teknoloji öğretmenliğini tavsiye etme değişkenleri ile iç kaynaklı iş tatmin puanları arasında anlamlı farklar ortaya konmuştur. Buna karşılık, cinsiyet, yaş, medeni hâl, çocuk sahibi olma, çocuk sayısı, fen ve teknoloji dışında farklı derslere girme, hizmet süresi, hizmet içi eğitim alma, çalıştığı okul sayısı, idari görev, okul dışı gelir getiren bir işle uğraşma, ek iş türü ve ek gelir durumu değişkenleri için iç kaynaklı iş tatmin puanları arasında anlamlı farklar bulunmamıştır.

In this study, it is aimed to identify intrinsic job satisfaction levels of science and technology teachers. This study had a correlational and comparative survey design and random sampling was employed in this study. The sample consisted of 204 science and technology teachers teaching in Istanbul. The Personal Information Form and the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire were used to collect the data. Significant differences were found for the school type, belongings (car, house), presence of another teacher in the family, graduate education, and advice for becoming a science teacher. On the contrary, nonsignificant differences were found for gender, age, marital status, presence of children, the number of children, teaching except science, teaching experience, in-service training, the number of schools served for, administrative duty, extra job, the type of extra job, level of extra income.
