Ön çapraz bağ kopuğu bulunan 15 köpeğin sağaltımında tuberositas tibia’yı öne taşıma tekniğinin klinik ve radyolojik olarak değerlendirilmesi

Bu çalışmanın amacı; ön çapraz bağ (ÖÇB) kopuğu teşhisi konulan değişik ırk, yaş ve cinsiyetteki 15 adet köpeğin sağaltımında, tuberositas tibia’yı öne taşıma (TTÖT) tekniğinin kullanımı, preoperatif ve postoperatif klinik ve radyolojik muayene bulguları yönünden değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. TTÖT tekniği uygulanan olgular, preoperatif ve postoperatif dönemde (10., 30., 60., 90. ve 120. günlerde) klinik ve radyolojik olarak değerlendirildi. Preoperatif ve postoperatif patellar tendon açıları karşılaştırıldığında, sırasıyla; preoperatif ortalama 105.06° iken, postoperatif ortalamasının 95.28° olduğu ve patellar tendon açılarındaki 5.3°’lik sapmanın olgularda klinik olarak herhangi bir olumsuz sonuç doğurmadığı belirlendi. Olguların fonksiyonel iyileşme zamanları akut olgularda 20-68 gün (42.85 gün), kronik olgularda ise 12-165 gün (77.28 gün) olarak belirlendi. 11 olguda “çok iyi” iyileşme görülürken, 1 olguda “tatminkâr”, 2 olguda “zayıf” sonuçlar elde edildi. 1 olgu ise takip edilemedi. Sonuç olarak; TTÖT tekniğinin, köpeklerde ÖÇB kopuklarının sağaltımında oldukça başarılı, diğer sağaltım yöntemlerine göre komplikasyon oranı daha az, yeni ve güvenli cerrahi bir prosedür olduğu kanısına varılmıştır.

Clinical and radiological evaluation of tibial tuberosity advancement procedure for the treatment of ligamentum cruciatum anterior rupture on 15 dogs

The purpose of this study was to state on clinical and radiological evaluation of tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA) procedure outcomes’ performed in 15 dogs, diagnosed ligamentum cruciatum anterior (LCA) rupture. TTA cases were evaluated clinically and radiologically on preoperative time and on the 10th, 30th, 60th, 90th and 120th daysof postoperative time. Mean preoperative and postoperative patellar tendon angles were determined respectively: 105.06° and 95.28° and there is no clinical negative result on the cases due to approximately 5.3° variability. The functional healing time for acute cases were from 20 to 68 days (42.85 days), but for chronic 8 cases were from 12 to 165 days (77.28 days). The results were; excellent in 11 cases, satisfactory in one case and poor in 2 cases and 1 case was unfollow-up. As a result, TTA procedure is a quite successful, new and reliable surgical procedure on treatment of ligamentum cruciatum anterior ruptures with fewer complication rate than other treatment methods.
