DEFINING THE INNOVATIONAND R&D MA TURITYLEVELS OF MANUFACTURING FIRMS IN R63 REGION BY USING INNOVSCALE

This research is conducted in order to determine the innovation and R&D maturity levels of manufacturing enterprises in TR63 region. For this purpose initially comprehensive literature review is performed. Previous research was analyzed in terms of topic, scope, methodology and findings. ln the light of the data derived from this review, the scale developed by Vicente et.al. (2015) was chosen and adapted. ln adopting the questionnaire, pre-test is conducted and proposed changes have been made. The final version of the questionnaire is applied to randomly defined 263 respondents via e-mail and phone calls. The data is converted into set. By applying reliability, validity, correlation and factor analysis tests via SPSS 180 and AMOS 16.0, innovativeness is defined to be more related to product development and technical capabilities whereas low relations are detected with strategic capabilities.
