BABACAN LİDERLİK PSİKOLOJİK SAHİPLİĞİ NASIL ETKİLEMEKTEDİR? KOLEKTİF ŞÜKRANIN ARACI ROLÜ

Bu çalışmada lider-üye etkileşimi teorisi, duygusal olaylar teorisi ve iyi oluş teorisine dayandırılarakçalışanların babacan liderlik algılarının psikolojik sahiplik üzerindeki etkisinde kolektif şükranın aracıetkisi incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı babacan liderliğin psikolojik sahipliği doğrudan mı yoksa dolaylımı etkilediğini ortaya koyarak kolektif şükranın bu ilişkideki rolünü saptamaktır. Araştırmanın örnekleminikolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile ulaşılan 418 hizmet sektörü çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Anket yoluyla eldeedilen veriler nicel yöntemler kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları, babacan liderliğinpsikolojik sahiplik ve kolektif şükranın istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı ve pozitif bir yordayıcısı olduğunugöstermektedir. Ayrıca kolektif şükran psikolojik sahipliğin istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı ve pozitif biryordayıcısıdır. Son olarak kolektif şükranın babacan liderlik ile psikolojik sahiplik arasındaki ilişkide kısmiaracı etkiye sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda yöneticiler ve uygulayıcılar için önerilersunulmuştur.

HOW PATERNALISTIC LEADERSHIP AFFECTS PSYCHOLOGICAL OWNERSHIP? MEDIATOR ROLE OF COLLECTIVE GRATDITUVE

In this study, building on leader-member exchange theory, affective events theory, and well-being theory the effect of paternalistic leadership perception on psychological ownership and the mediator role of collective gratitude were investigated. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether paternalistic leadership affects psychological ownership directly or indirectly and determine the role of collective gratitude on this relationship. The sample of this study consists of 418 service sector employees by using convenient sampling method. Data, gathered by using survey technic, were investigated by using quantitative methods. Findings show that paternalistic leadership is a statistically significant and positive predictor of psychological ownership and collective gratitude. Additionally, collective gratitude is a statistically significant and positive predictor of psychological ownership. Finally, the partial mediating effect of collective gratitude on the relationship between paternalistic leadership and psychological ownership was found. In the conclusion, managerial and practical implications as well as further recommendations are provided.
