Bireysel Performansı Ve Verimliliği Artımada Kendi Kendine Liderlik Yaklaşımının Önemi

Son zamanlarda, yönetim ve liderlik uygulamalarında katılımcı yönetim, personel güçlendirme, yetki devri ve kendi kendini yöneten takımlar gibi yaklaşımlar ve teknikler, sıklıkla karşılaşılan konulardır. Yönetim ve liderlik uygulamalarındaki bu yeni yaklaşımlar şunu önermektedirler: Gerçekleştirilecek herhangi bir personel güçlendirme faaliyetinin odak noktası, çalışanların kendi kendilerini yönetmesi ve liderlik etmesi üzerinde olmalıdır. Kendi kendine liderlik yaklaşımı, genel olarak çalışanın kendi işini ve kendi dünyasını düzenlemeyi, böylelikle arzulanan en iyi sonucu elde etmeyi kapsamaktadır. Kendi kendine liderlik yaklaşımı içerisinde geliştirilen üç temel strateji vardır: Davranış odaklı stratejiler, doğal ödül stratejileri ve yapıcı düşünce modeli stratejileridir. Bu stratejilerle, çalışanın kendini yönlendirmesi ve başarılı olması için gerekli olan motivasyonu kendi kendine sağlayarak bir etkileme süreci içerisinde etkili ve verimli olabilmesi hedeflenmektedir. Bu çalışmada, kendi kendine liderlik yaklaşımının ne anlama geldiği ve bu yaklaşım içerisinde geliştirilen temel stratejiler ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca, kendi kendine liderlik yaklaşımı içerisinde geliştirilen üç temel stratejinin uygulanmasına yönelik çalışanlara önerilerde bulunulmaya çalışılmıştır.

Frequently used approaches and technics in contemporary management and leadership practices are empowerment, participative management, employee involvement and self-managing work teams. This vision of management and leadership practices suggests that the focus of any empowerment effort should be an emphasis on employee self-management and self-leadership. Selfleadership involves commonly redesigning one's work and one's world to bring out one's best qualities and one's fullest potential. There are three distinct strategies developed in self-leadership concept: Behavioral focused strategies, natural reward strategies and constructive thought pattern strategies. It is intended in order to perform, be effective and be productive within a selfinfluence process through which people achieve the self-direction and selfmotivation necessary by these strategies. The main purpose of this study is to try to explain the concept of self leadership and main strategies developed in self-leadership concept. Also, there are recommendations about three strategies developed in self-leadership concept for workers
