ÖZPopüler kültürün önemli unsurlarından biri olan arabesk müzik, Türkiye toplumundaoldukça geniş kesimler üzerinde uzun yıllar etkili olmuştur. Arabesk,özellikle göçle birlikte şehir yaşamının zorluklarına katlanma ya da onlarla mücadeleetme durumunda kalan kırsal kesimin yaşam algısını ifade etmesi bakımındanönemli bir sosyolojik unsurdur. İnsanın dini anlayışını, yaşam algısını veAllah’la ilişkisini yansıtan önemli kavramlardan biri olan kader konusu, arabeskmüzikte oldukça yoğun olarak ele alınmaktadır.
