Uyum Bozukluğu ve Hemşirelik Yaklaşımı

Uyum bozuklukları psikososyal stresör olarak tanımlanan durumlara gösterilen kısa süreli uyumsuz tepkilerdir. Bu bozuklukta; sosyal yaşam, iş yaşamı ve diğer fonksiyonlarda belirgin bozulma olmaktadır. Uyum bozukluğu tanısı tıbbi ya da cerrahi nedenlerle hastaneye yatırılan hastalarda ve psikiyatride en yaygın konulan psikiyatrik tanılardandır. Yaygın görülmesine ve işlevsellik kaybına yol açmasına rağmen uyum bozukluğunda hemşirelik yaklaşımına ilişkin araştırmalar yok denecek kadar azdır. Bu makalede uyum bozukluğu olan bireyle çalışırken hemşirenin nasıl bir değerlendirme yapması gerektiği literatür bilgisi doğrultusunda tartışılmış ve hemşirelik bakımının neleri içermesi gerektiği konuları ele alınmıştır.

Adjustment Disorders and Nursing Approaches

Adjustment disorders are short-term maladaptive reactions to a situation described as psychosocial stress. In this disorder, deterioration in a person's social life, work life and other functions is evident. An adjustment disorder is one of the most common psychiatric diagnoses seen in patients who are hospitalized for medical or surgical reasons. Although it is widely seen and leads to a loss of functionality, the number of studies related to adjustment disorders and nursing approaches is very limited. In this article, nursing approaches to individuals with adjustment disorders and the goals of nursing care are discussed in accordance with earlier studies in the literature.
