Hasta Güvenliği Açısından Önemli Bir Sorun: Hasta Teslimi

Sağlık hizmetlerinde bakım kalitesinin yükseltilmesi, hemşirelik bakımının dökümante edilmesi ve hasta bilgilerinin sağlık profesyonelleri arasında doğru aktarılması hususunda önemli bir yere sahip olan hasta teslimi, aynı zamanda hasta güvenliği hedefl erinden etkin iletişim sürdürülmesinde de öncelikli unsurlardan biridir. Hasta teslim sürecinde hasta güvenliğinin sağlanmasında en önemli kilit nokta; doğru, eksiksiz ve anlaşılır bilginin doğru zamanda ve doğru kişilerce verilmesidir. Modern sağlık bakım sistemi çerçevesinde bu süreç, hasta bakımında üstlendiği roller gereği özellikle hemşirelere önemli sorumluluklar yüklemektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı, hasta teslim sürecinin önemini vurgulayarak sağlık bakımı uygulamalarının kalitesini artırmak, hasta güvenliğine yönelik alınan tedbirlere katkı sağlamaktır

An Important Problem for Patient Safety: Nursing Handover

Patient handover has an important place in the improvement of health service care, the documentation of nursing care, and the correct transfer between health professionals, and at the same time is a principal component in maintaining effective communications in the aims of patent safety. In the process of patient handover, the most important point in achieving patient safety is giving correct, complete and comprehensible information at the right time and to the right people. In a modern healthcare system, this process charges nurses with a particular responsibility as the people who take on the role of patient caregiver.The purpose of this review is to increase the quality of healthcare practices and to contribute to the measures taken to ensure patient safety by stressing the importance of the nursing handover process
