Annelerin Doğum Sonrası Sosyal Destek İhtiyaçlarının ve Alınan Desteğin Belirlenmesi
Amaç: Bu çalışmada amaç annelerin doğum sonrası sosyal destek ihtiyaçlarını ve aldıkları destek düzeylerini belirlemek ve etkileyen bazı faktörleri incelemektir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı kesitsel nitelikte yapılan araştırmanın evrenini, 1 Ocak 2013-30 Nisan 2013 tarihleri arasında çalışmanın yapıldığı ilde bulunan üç farklı Aile Sağlığı Merkezine başvuran ve doğum sonu en erken 4., en geç 8. haftada olan ve araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan 254 lohusa oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan 24 soruluk Anket Formu ve Doğum Sonrası Destek Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan annelerin yaş ortalaması 28.80±5.4dür. Annelerin %50.4ü ilkokul mezunu, %68.5i çekirdek tip ailede yaşamakta ve %86.6sı herhangi bir işte çalışmamaktadır. Annelerin %74ü multipar, %24ü dördüncü lohusalık haftasında, %84.3ü isteyerek gebe kalmış, %75.6sı normal doğum yapmış ve %58.3ü doğum sonu döneme yönelik bilgi almamıştır. Annelerin eşlerinin %37.4ü ilkokul mezunu, %55.1i serbest meslek sahibidir. Annelerin Doğum Sonrası Destek Ölçeği, İhtiyacın Önemi alt boyutu toplam puan ortalaması 138.20±47.7 ve Alınan Destek alt boyutu toplam puan ortalaması 111.96±45.4dür. Çalışmada üniversite mezunu olan, çalışan, üst orta gelir düzeyine sahip, çekirdek aile tipinde yaşayan ve primipar annelerin İhtiyacın Önemi ve Alınan Destek alt boyutları toplam puan ortalamaları daha yüksek bulunmuş ve aralarındaki farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu saptanmıştır (p
Determining Postpartum Social Support Needs of Mothers and the Support They Received
Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the postpartum social support needs of mothers, the levels of support they received and to analyze some effective factors. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted on mothers who resided in the city centre between January 1 and April 30, 2013, who applied to three different Family Health Centers and who were in the 4th to 8th weeks of the postpartum period. The sample group consisted of 254 mothers who gave permission to participate in the study. A general questionnaire and Postpartum Support Questionnaireconsisting of 24 questions were designed by the researchers and were used for data collection. Results: The average age of mothers participating in the study was 28.80±5.4. 50.4% of the mothers were primary school graduates, 68.5% lived in a nuclear family and 86.6% were unemployed. 74% were multiparous mothers and 24% were in the fourth week of the postpartum period. 84.3% of mothers became pregnant intentionally and 75.6% had a vaginal birth. 58.3% received information about the postpartum period. 37.4% of fathers were primary school graduates and 55.1% were self-employed. The total mean score for the question regarding Importance of Need on the Postpartum Support Questionnaire was 138.20±47.7 and the total mean score for the question regarding Support Received was 111.96±45.4.
