Atatürk Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi pilot süt fabrikasına, 6 farklı yöreden gelen sütlerden, değişik zamanlarda toplam 48 adet süt örneği alınarak koliform grubu bakteri ve Staphylococcus aureus yönünden analiz edilmiştir. Bu süt örneklerinden izole edilen 456 koliform suşundan 82’si Escherichia coli tip I, 37’si E. coli tip II, 16’sı E. freundii, 167’si Enterobacter aerogenes ve 33’ü de E. cloacea olarak tanımlanmıştır. 121 suş ise tanımlanamamıştır. İzole edilen 96 adet S. aureus suşundan 42’sinin  hemolize-koagülaz (++),  36’sının  (+ -), 18’inin de (- +) olduğu saptanmıştır.  

Total 48 milk samples coming to Atatürk University Agricultural Dairy Plant from 5 different villages and the University dairy herd were analyzed for their coliform bacteria and Staphylococcus aureus. Total 456 coliform bacteria were isolated and identified. Among the identified coliform bacteria, 82 typical Escherichia coli, 37 atypical E. coli, 16 E. freundii, 167 Enterobacter aerogenes and 33 E. cloacea were identified. 121 coliform bacteria could not be identified and stated as the other coliform groups. Total 96 S. aureus bacteria were isolated. In S. aureus bacteria 42 of them had given hemolysis-coagulation tests (++), 36 (+ -) and 18 (- +).
