Yaşlı bir kadında işeme bozukluğuna ve böbrek yetmezliğine yol açan dev üretral karankül ve genital prolapsus

Amaç: Üretral karankül kadın üretrasının sık gözlenen benign bir tümörüdür. Genellikle asemptomatiktir ve uzunluğu 1-2 cm arasında değişmektedir. Biz bu yazıda dev üretral karankülle beraber genital prolapsus olan olguyu tartışmayı amaçladık. Olgu sunumu: Pelvik prolapsus ve işeme bozukluğu ile başvuran, dev üretral karankül tespit ettiğimiz 72 yaşındaki kadın hasta literatür gözden geçirilerek sunuldu. Sonuç: Genital organ ve üretral patolojilerinin de böbrek yetmezliğine yol açabileceği akılda tutulmalıdır.

A giant urethral caruncle and genitale prolapse in an old woman who caused voiding dysfunction and renal failure: Case report

Objective: Urethral caruncle is benign and common disorder of female urethra. They are usually asymptomatic and one or two centimeters in diameter. Our aim is to discuss a case of giant urethral caruncle, coexisting with genital prolapse. Case report: We present a giant urethral caruncle in a 72-year-old woman who admitted to hospital with the genitale prolapse and voiding dysfunction and the literature is reviewed. Conclusion: It must be taken into consideration that, genital and urethral pathologies may also cause renal failure.
