Samsun İli Culicoides Latreille, 1809 (Diptera: Ceratopogonidae) Faunasına Katkılar

Bu çalışma 2016 yılı Nisan-Kasım ayları arasında Samsun’da gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örnekler siyah floresan lambalı ışık tuzakları kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Toplanan örnekler %70’lik etil alkolde saklanmıştır. Çalışmanın temel hedefi, Türkiye’de sadece Samsun’da dişisine ait kayıt bulunan C. griseidorsum Kieffer, 1918 türüne ait erkek bireylerin elde edilmesidir. Bu amaçla, toplanan Culicoides örnekleri incelenmiş ve C. cataneii Clastrier, 1957, C. circumscriptus Kieffer, 1918, C. duddingstoni Kettle ve Lawson, 1955, C. festivipennis Kieffer, 1914, C. gejgelensis Dzhafarov, 1964, C. kibunensis Tokunaga, 1937, C. longipennis Khalaf, 1957, C. maritimus Kieffer, 1924, C. obsoletus (Meigen, 1818), C. odiatus Austen, 1921, C. pictipennis (Staeger, 1839), C. shaklawensis Khalaf, 1957, C. simulator Edwards, 1939, C. subfasciipennis Kieffer, 1919 türleri tespit edilmiştir. C. griseidorsum türüne ait örnekler ise yakalanamamıştır. Bu çalışmayla C. odiatus, C. pictipennis, C. simulator türleri Samsun’dan ilk kez bildirilmektedir. Böylece Samsun Culicoides faunasına ait bilinen tür sayısı 25’e ulaşmaktadır.
