Çevresel Sürdürlebilir Turizm Gelişmesi

Turizm gelirlerinin ülke ekonomilerindeki payı her geçen gün artmakta, gelirler yükselirken bu gelirden daha fazla pay alma konusunda turizm bölgeleri arasındaki rekabet de giderek şiddetlenmektedir. Turizm faaliyetinin birçok ekonomik faaliyetle doğrudan ve dolaylı ilişkisi ve bu faaliyet alanlarında da ekonomik gelişmeyi uyarabilecek kapasitede olması sektörün önemini daha da arttırmaktadır. Makalede turizm gelişmesinin çevresel sürdürülebilirlik faktörleri üzerinde duran yeni bir rekabet modeli kavramsal olarak açıklanmaktadır. Çevresel sürdürülebilir turizm gelişmesi olarak tanıtılan yeni model yalnızca üretim boyutunu içeren geleneksel yaklaşımlardan farklı olarak hem üretim hem de talep boyutunu dikkate almaktadır. Turizm bölgesindeki gelişmenin gelecekte de sürmesi ve çevre bilinci yüksek turist kitlesi için çekiciliğinin uzun dönemde devamı, söz konusu kitlenin motivasyonlarını arttıran çevresel ve doğal değerlerin korunmasına bağlı görünmektedir. Model; hedeflenen piyasa dilimleri için bölgenin özgün kaynaklarının ve çekiciliklerinin korunmasını ve geliştirilmesini amaçlarken, sürdürülebilir turizm talebi üzerinde durmaktadır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde turizm sektörünün ekonomik önemi güncel gelişmelerle açıklanmaktadır. İkinci bölümde turizm bölgelerinin rekabet gücü ve rekabet gücü oluşturan unsurlardaki değişim tarihsel süreçte ele alınmakta, üçüncü bölümde çevresel sürdürülebilir turizm gelişmesi tanımlandıktan sonra yaklaşımın temel unsurları açıklanmakta ve çalışma sonuç ve önerilerle sona ermektedir.

Environmentally Sustainable Tourism Development

Income share of the tourism activity is rising in resent years. While revemıes are rising, the competitkm between tourism destinations is becoming more fiercely. Tourism activity related a lot of economic activity directly or indirectly and tourism development can start snowball effects for other sectors by creating demand. A new approach focuses on environmental sustainability factors were examined in this article. New model called environmentally sustainable tourism development different from traditional approach that focused on one side of the tourism activity. it considers both supply side and demand side effects and contents sustainable use of resource while increasing market share and revenues. Environmentally Sustainable Tourism Development has three dimensions. These are characteristic and availability of tourism resources, environmentally sustainable tourism demand and subsidiary tourism activity. Development of the destination in the future recjuires efficient demand management policies focusing on sustainable consumer base. Environmentally sustainable tourism development need unique natural resources and appeals to target travel costumer segments. Therefore sustainability requires responding to market demand and competitive challenge. Article consists of three parts. First part is introduction. Second part is about determination of competitive advantage of the tourism destination. Change of the competitive advantage evaluated historical process.
