Pancreas salgılarını duodenum"a ileten ductuspancreaticus isimli akıtıcı kanalların 3 adet olduğu tespit edildi Histolojik muayenelerde duodenum,,daki villi intestinales"in boyları 1.5-2 mm idi. Geriye doğru gidildikçe villusların boyu kısalıp kalınlaşmıştı. Pancreas"ın, pars exocrina"sı memelilerdekine benzerdi.
Investigation of Morphological Structure of Duodenum and Pancreas in Japanese Quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica)
The study was conducted to investigate macroanatomically the structure of duodenum andpancreas with light microscope in japanese quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica). For this purpose 5male and 5 female, a total of 10quails were used.In japanese quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica), duodenum arised craniodorsally on the right face ofthe ventricule and made a "U" shaped curve. The left ventral branch of the duodenum, parsdescendens duodeni, curved through left on the back of the ventricule and continued as the rightdorsal branch of the duodenum, pars ascendens duodeni.Pancreas was a gray-white shape organ localised between the curves of the duodenum. It wasobserved that the pancreas had four lobes named lobus pancreatis dorsalis, lobus pancreatisventralis, lobus pancreatis tertius and lobus pancreatis splenalis. In addition, pancreas had three pancreatic ducts that transmit the pancreatic secretion to duodenum.Histologically, height of intestinal villi of duodenum was 1.5-2 mm. Through backwards, villi were getting shortened and thickened. Exocrine part of pancreas was similar to the ones of mammals.
