Diyabetik Ratlarda Taurinin Böbrek Dokusunda PPARγ, IRS–1, HSP–27, HSP–72 Düzeyleri ile Histopatolojik Değişimler Üzerine Etkisi
Bu çalışmada, streptozotosin (STZ) ile diyabet oluşturulan ratlarda böbrek dokusu PPAR-γ, IRS-1,HSP-27, HSP-72 proteinlerinin düzeyleri ile böbrek histopatolojisi üzerine taurinin etkileri araştırıldı.Çalışmada, 8 haftalık, toplam 40 adet erkek Wistar albino rat 4 gruba ayrıldı: (i) Kontrol, (ii) Taurin;içme suyuna %2 taurin eklenen ratlar, (iii) STZ; 60 mg/kg dozunda STZ (i.p. tek doz) uygulananratlar, (iv) STZ+Taurin; taurin verilen ve STZ uygulanan ratlar. Sekiz haftalık çalışma sonundataurin grubu PPAR-γ, IRS-1, HSP-27 ve HSP-72 (P>0.05) düzeylerinde kontrol grubuna göreanlamlı bir değişim gözlenmezken, STZ grubu PPAR-γ (P
Effects of Taurine on the Levels of PPARγ, IRS-1, HSP-27, HSP-72 and Histopathological Changes in Kidney of the Diabetic Rats
The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of taurine on PPAR-γ, IRS-1, HSP-27, and HSP-72 levels along with the kidney histopathological changes in streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic rats. In the study, 40 Wistar albino male rats were divided into four groups. (i) Control group, (ii) Taurine, rats received taurine with drinking water (2%); (iii) STZ, rats were injected with STZ (60 mg/kg i.p. as single dose) and (iv) STZ+Taurine, rats received taurine and injected with STZ. After 8 weeks of the study, the Taurine group was found to be statistically indifferent to the control group in terms of PPAR-γ, IRS-1, HSP-27, and HSP-72 levels (P>0.05). However, PPAR-γ (P
