20082012 Yılları arasında Elazığ 'da kesilen hayvanlarda karaciğer trematodlarının görülme sıklığı

Bu çal ı ş mada Elaz ı ğ ilinde 20082012 y ı lları aras ı nda kesilen kasapl ı k hayvanlarda görülenkaraci ğer trematod enfeksiyonları n ı n s ı kl ı ğ ı ve bu enfeksiyonlar nedeniyle olu ş an ekonomikkay ı pları n boyutunun ara ş tı rı lmas ı amaçlanm ı ş tı r. Elazı ğ da bulunan toplam 6 kesimhanenin kayı tları geriye dönük olarak incelendi. Karaci ğ ertrematod enfeksiyonları n ı n varl ı ğ ı nedeniyle imha edilen karaci ğ erlere ba ğ l ı ekonomik kayb ıhesaplamak için kurumları n toptan satı ş fiyatları temel al ı nd ı . Gerekli verilere ulaş ı lamad ı ğ ı içinverim dü ş üklü ğ ü nedeni ile olu ş an ekonomik kayı plar belirtilmedi. Son be ş yı lda 125.297 s ı ğ ı r, 83.597 koyun ve 46.500 keçi kesimi yap ı ld ı ğ ı ve bunlardan s ı ras ı yla%7.94, %7.89 ve %5.64s ı nda Fasciola hepatica saptand ı ğ ı bildirilmi ş tir. Dicrocoelium dentriticumise koyunları n %1.15inde, keçilerin ise %1.39undabulunmu ş tur. İmha edilen enfekte karaci ğ erlernedeniyle olu ş an ekonomik kayb ı n son 5 yı lda F. hepatica nedeniyle 417.089 TL, D. dentriticumnedeniyle 6.090 TL olmak üzere toplam 423.179 TL oldu ğ u görülmü ş tür. Elazı ğ da son be ş y ı ldakesimi yap ı lan hayvanlarda karaci ğ er trematodları n ı n görülme s ı kl ı ğ ı nda önceki y ı llara göre artı şoldu ğ u ve bu nedenle olu ş an ekonomik kay ı pları n da 5.5 kat arttı ğ ı görülmü ş tür.

The frequency of liver trematodes in slaugtered animals between 2008 2012 in Elazığ

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the frequency of liver trematode infections in animalsslaughtered between 2008 and 2012 in the province of Elaz ı ğ and to determine the economic lossresulted from such infections. The records of the 6 slaughterhouses located in the province of Elazı ğ were retrospectivelyreviewed. The whole sale price of the establishments was taken into account to calculate economicloss resultied from the condemnation of livers due to the presence of liver trematodes. Economicloss resulting from the diminishing yield could not be evaluated since we were unable to accessthere required data. In the last five years, 125.297 cattle, 83.597 sheep, and 46.500 goats were slaughtered, and thefrequency of Fasciola hepatica was reported as 7.94%, 7.89% and 5.64% in forementionedanimals, respectively. The frequency of D. dentriticum was 1.15% among sheeps and 1.39% amonggoats. Economic loss in the last five years resulted from the condemnation of the infected liverswas 417.089 TL for F. hepatica and 6.090 TL for D. dentriticum , and a total of them was 423.179TL. It was realized that the frequency of liver trematodes among the slaughtered animals in the lastfive years in Elazı ğ has increased compared to previous years, which has led to a 5.5-fold increasein the financial loss.
