PROBİYOTİK MİKROORGANİZMALARIN İMMUN SİSTEM ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Probiyotikler ağız yoluyla alındıklarında konağın sağlık ve fizyolojisini pozitif yönde etkileyen patojen olma-yan mikroorganizmalardır. Genellikle Lactobacillus ve Bifidobacterium türünden oluşan probiyotikler, bağır-sağın doğal florasında bulunurlar. İç ekosistemi veya immun sistemi düzenlemek suretiyle bağırsak fizyoloji-sini direk veya indirek olarak etkileyebilirler. Bu yüzden probiyotik içeren ürünlerin sağlık açısından önemi, tüketici tercihlerini etkileyen ve dolayısıyla bu tip ürünlerin pazar paylarının da hızla yükselmesine neden olan anahtar faktör olma yolundadır.
