Bu ara?tyrmanyn amacy, yansytycy dü?ünme etkinliklerinin ö?rencilerin piyano ö?renme düzeylerine etkisini incelemektir. Ara?tyrmada ön-test son-test kontrol gruplu deneme modeli kullanylmy?tyr.Ara?tyrma 2007–2008 ö?retim yylynda Ankara Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarynda piyano dersini alan opera-koro bölümü 3. ve 4. synyf ö?rencileri üzerinde gerçekle?tirilmi?tir. Deney grubuna yansytycy dü?ünme etkinliklerine dayaly ö?retim uygulanyrken, kontrol grubuna süregelen ö?retim etkinlikleri uygulanmy?tyr. Ö?rencilerin piyano ö?renme sürecinde, yansytycy dü?ünme becerilerinin kullanymyny de?erlendirmeye yönelik ara?tyrmacy tarafyndan geli?tirilen gözlem formu, veri toplama aracy olarak kullanylmy?tyr. Ara?tyrma sonucunda yansytycy dü?ünmeye dayaly ö?retim etkinliklerinin ö?rencilerin piyano ö?renme ve çalma düzeylerini olumlu yönde etkiledi?i belirlenmi?tir.

EFFECTS OF REFLECTIVE THINKING ACTIVITIES ON ACADEMIC SUCCESS IN PIANO LEARNING PROCESS

Aim of this research is to study the effects of reflective thinking activities on piano learning. In the study pre-test post-test control group testing model has been used. The study has been conducted on students of Class 3-4 of opera-chorus department taking piano courses at State Conservatory of Ankara University in the 2007-2008 Academic Year. While teaching based on reflective thinking activities are applied to testing group, the ongoing teaching activities are applied to control group. As data collection means, the observation form developed by the researcher for use to collect data about reflective thinking skills gained during piano learning process of the students has been used. As a result of the study it has been discovered that the teaching activities based on reflective thinking have positive effects of piano learning and playing levels of the students.
