Terörizmin makroekonomik sonuçları üzerine bir değerlendirme

Ulusal ve uluslararası terör eylemlerindeki artış ve bunlara karşı alınan önlemler, terörizmin ekonomik etkilerinin yakından incelenmesine yol açmıştır. Terör, ekonomik birimlerin davranışlarını ve beklentilerini etkileyerek, ulusal ve dünya ekonomisinin temel dinamiklerinde önemli değişikliklere neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışma, terörün makroekonomik etkilerini temel değişkenler ve faktörler üzerinden topluca değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu çerçevede çalışmada, terörizmin ekonomik büyümeyi, finansal piyasaları, uluslararası ticareti, doğrudan yabancı yatırımları, bölgesel gelişmeyi, ve kamu harcamalarını etkileme mekanizmaları açıklanmakta ve bu etkileşimleri konu edinen ampirik literatürün detaylı bir incelemesi yapılmaktadır.

An evaluation on the macroeconomic consequences of terrorism

Increase both in the national and international terrorist activities and measurements taken against them lead the evaluation of economic effects of terrorism. Terror, by affecting in the behaviors and expectations of economic units, causes important changes in the main dynamics of the national and world economy. This study aims to evaluate macroeconomic effects by utilizing basic variables and factors as a whole. In this framework, in the paper, the impact mechanisms of terrorism on economic growth, financial markets, international trade, foreign direct investment, regional development and public expenditure are explained and the empirical literature focused on the interactions among these variables is investigated in detail.
