MANDİBULAR ROTASYON MODELİNİN, SAGİTTAL MAKSİLLO-MANDİBULAR KONUMA GÖRE DAĞILIMI VE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Bu çalışmada sagittal yöndeki maksillomandibular konumun mandibula rotasyon modeline bağlı olup olmadığını incelemeyi amaçladık.Araştırma el–bilek grafilerinde Ru dönemineulaşmış, genetik ya da doğumsal kraniyofasiyaldeformitesi olmayan 69 erişkin hastanın tedavi başılateral sefalometrik filmleri üzerinde yürütülmüştür. İstatistiksel değerlendirme ANB açısınormuna göre belirlenmiş 3 grup üzerinde yap›lm›şt›r. Grup I İskeletsel s›n›f I 24 bireyden, Grup II iskeletsel S›n›f II 20 bireyden, Grup III iskeletsel S›n›f III 25 bireyden oluşmuştur.

The Evaluation and Distribution of Mandibular Rotation Pattern Regarding Sagittal Maxillo-Mandibular Position

In this study, we aimed to study the relationship between sagittal maxillomandibular positionand the type of mandibular rotation. Study was carried on the lateral cephalometric radiographs of 69adult cases, who hasn’t got any genetic or craniofacial deformity and in Ru skeletal developmentalstage. Statistical analysis were made on 3 groupsaccording to ANB norms. Group I skeletal ClassI consists of 24 cases, Group II skeletal Class II consists of 20 cases and Group III skeletal ClassIII consists of 25 cases. In all groups, the differences of GoGn/SN, GoMe/FH and Gonial Anglewere investigated by Anova analyse of variance and Duncan’s test. The distribution of the sagittalmaxillomandibular relationships was studied byChi-Square and Z tests in hyperdivergent, normaland hypodivergent cases. It was concluded that, sagittal maxillomandibular relationship was independent from vertical facial growth pattern andmandibular rotation
