Amaç: Çalışmada veteriner hekim muayenehane, poliklinik ve hayvan hastanelerinde kullanılan tabela ve dış cephelerin veteriner hekimliği mevzuatı çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı.Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmanın materyalini 2012-2013 Eği-tim-Öğretim yılında Selçuk Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinin izin alınarak 36 ilden görüntüledik-leri muayenehane, poliklinik ve hayvan hastanelerinin tabela ve dış cephe fotoğrafları oluşturdu. Çalışmada iş yerlerine ait bilgilerin işleneceği bir form kullanıldı. Fotoğrafı alınan 378'er adet tabela ve dış cephe görüntüleri incelenerek vete-riner hekimliği mevzuatı çerçevesinde değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Tabela ve dış cephe fotoğraflarının; işyeri niteliği-ne göre 350'sinin muayenehane, 22'sinin poliklinik ve altısı-nın hayvan hastanesine; hayvan türlerine göre ise 287'sinin çiftlik hayvanları ve 91'inin pet hayvanları üzerine hizmet veren işyerlerine ait olduğu belirlendi. İncelenen tabelalarda ikiden fazla renk olduğu, farklı hayvan figürlerine yer veril-diği, genel olarak bir standarda sahip olmadığı; dış cephe gö-rüntülerinde ise mama ve yem markası etiketlerine, Türkçe dışında yazılara ve haksız rekabete yol açacak ibarelere yer verildiği tespit edildi.Öneri: Sonuç olarak veteriner hekimliği mevzuatında ta-belalara ilişkin yer alması gereken temel bilgiler hakkında hükümler yer alırken, ebat, yazı karakteri, logo örneği gibi konularda yeterli düzenleme yapılmadığı; Türk Veteriner Hekimleri Birliği ve Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık Bakanlığı'nın ortak bir çalışmayla tabela ve dış cephe düzenlemesi konu-sunda yasal bir zeminde standardizasyona gitmesinin gerek-li olacağı söylenebilir.

Aim: In the study, it was aimed to evaluate the signboards and facades of the clinic, policlinics and animal hospitals which veterinarians work in terms of the legislations for ve-terinarians. Materials and Methods: The materials of the study inclu-ded the pictures of the signboards and facades of the clinics, policlinics and animal hospitals which were shot by the final year students of Selçuk University Faculty of Veterinary Me-dicine after obtaining consents in 36 provinces in academic year of 2012-2013. In the study, a form to process the data of the working places was used. The images of the photograp-hed 378 signboards and 378 facades were analyzed and eva-luated in accordance with the legislations of veterinarians.Results: It was determined that the photographs of signbo-ards and facades included 350 clinics, 22 policlinics and 6 animal hospitals; 287 of them were about the enterprises which serve to farm animals, and 91 of them were for pet animals. In the signboards which were analyzed, it was fo-und that more than two colours were used, different animal figures were employed and there was no general standard; the labels of feed and forages, expressions in the languages except Turkish and expressions that may lead to unfair com-petition were found in the images of the facades. Conclusions: In conclusion, it can be said that the provisions about the basic information related to signboards exist in the legislations of veterinarian while no regulations were made for the sizes, typefaces and logo samples; it would be useful for the Turkish Veterinary Medical Association and the Mi-nistry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock to set a standardi-zation on the regulations for signboards and facades on legal footing through cooperation.
