An Adaptation Study of the Self-Directed Search in Turkish Culture

Bu çalışmanın amacı Kendini Araştırma Ölçeğinin (KAÖ) R formunun Türkçe uyarlamasının güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışmasını yapmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 257 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilere doldurmaları için KAÖ' nün R formunun Türkçe versiyonu verilmiştir. Sonuçlar KAÖ'nün R formunun Türkiye örneklemi için güvenlir ve geçerli bir araç olarak kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir. Araştırma bulguları, eğitimciler, psikolojik danışmanlar, ve mesleki danışmanlar açısından ele alınıp tartışılmıştır.

Kendini Araştırma Ölçeği'nin (KAÖ) Türk Kültürüne Uyarlanması

The purpose of this study to investigate the validity of Self -Directed Search Form R in Turkey. The study involved 257 university students who were administered a Turkish version of the Self-Directed Search Form R (SDS; Holland 1994). The results provided strong support validity of SDS for the Turkish sample. Implications of findings were discussed for the educators, psychological counsellors and career counselors.
