Koyun Vibriosisi Üzerinde Araştırmalar

Koyun vibrosis'inin tarihçesinden bahsedilmiş ve literatür bilgisi verilmiştir. Türkiye'de Orta Anadolu'da 1965 ve 1966 yıllarında koyunlar arasında, sıkıdar yaparak, seyreden hastalığın etiyolojisi üzerinde . çalışılmış, izole edilen etkenler Vibrio foetus intestinalis olarak idantifiye edilmişlerdir. Hastalık etkenine karşı çeşitli tür hayvanlardan hazırlanan aglütinan serumlardan, tavşan serumunun 1/6400 titreye kadar yükseldiği tesbit edilmiştir. Değişik antijenlerle yapılan aglütinasiyonlardan farklı sonuçlar alınmıştır. Yüzde 0,3 formolle inaktive edilen aşılarla aşılanan 14 gebe koyun' dan 11 başı patojen kültür oral inokulasiyonlarına karşı korunmuştur.

Studies on the ovine vibriosis in Turkey

In 'this paper some information on the history of the disease was given anel literature on the subject was reviewed. The causative organism of the enzootic ovine abortions, occuring in the Middle Anatolia, Turkey, in 1965 and 1966 lambing seasons, were studied and identified as V. fetus intestinalis. Agglutinating antisera were prepared from different species of aniınals and the highest titer was obtained from rabbit (1/6400). The agglutination tests carried out with four different indigenous strains of V. fetus antigens have given different results. This might suggest the occurens of different sero-type of V. fetus in Turkey. The 0,3 percent form,alin killed vaccine protected ll out of 14 pregnant ewes with its double doses.
