Cinsiyetler arası itkisel (dürtüsel) satın almanın farklılıkları üzerine nitel bir analiz: Moda sektörü temelinde bir değerlendirme

Son yıllarda yaşanan değişim ve gelişmelerle birlikte tüketici eğilimleri, satın alma alışkanlıkları ve davranışları değişmektedir. Sürekli yenilenen moda sektörünün öznesi tüketicidir ve bu sektör pazarlama dünyasında satın alma davranışlarını şekillendirmektedir. Günümüzde tüketiciler planlı satın almanın yanı sıra itkisel (dürtüsel) satın alma eylemleri de gerçekleştirmektedir. Bu süreçte demografik özelliklerin anlaşılması önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; itkisel (dürtüsel) satın alma davranışının moda sektörü üzerindeki etkilerini ele alarak, cinsiyetler arası farklılıklarının değerlendirilmesinde nitel bir bakış açısı ile ortaya koymaktır. Derinlemesine görüşme tekniği uygulanan çalışmada 5 kadın ve 5 erkek katılımcıya yer verilmiştir. Her iki cinsiyet için moda ürünlerine yönelik itkisel (dürtüsel) satın alma davranışı giyim ürünleri ve ayakkabı üzerinde gerçekleşmektedir. Sonuçlar bu moda ürünlerine yönelik, kadın ve erkek katılımcıların itkisel (dürtüsel) satın alma kararlarında istek ve ihtiyaç noktası, ürün kategorileri ile durumsal faktörler, mağaza atmosferi ve dışsal faktörler, satın alma sonrası yaşanan duygular bakımından birtakım benzerlik ve farklılıklar olduğunu göstermektedir. Ürünün görselliği ve renkleri, indirimler, mağazanın ortam kokusu, çalınan müzik, satış personelinin ilgisi ve vitrin tasarımı itkisel (dürtüsel) satın alma davranışını etkilemektedir. Ayrıca bu plansız satın alma eylemleri tüketicinin bildiği markalara ait ürünlere yönelik gerçekleşmektedir. Çalışma ile literatüre katkı sağlamak ve işletmelere pazarlama yönetimi alanında öneriler geliştirilerek rehber olunması hedeflenmektedir.

A qualitative analysis on the differences of impulsive buying inter genders: An evaluation on fashion

Related with recent changes and developments, consumer trends, purchasing habits and behaviour have been changing. Consumer is the subject of fashion sector renewed continuously and this sector shapes the purchasing habits in marketing field. Consumers have been purchasing impulsively besides planned buying nowadays. Within that period demographic specifications are important to be understood. Aim of this study is presenting a qualitative point of view on evaluation of gender differences discussing the effects of impulsive buying on fashion sector. 5 women and 5 men participants are included in this study, which is formed with depth interview. Impulsive buying behaviour to fashion products for both gender generally have been occuring for wearing products and shoes. Results show some similarities and differences on impulsive buying decision of men and women consumers to this fashion products in terms of shop atmosphere and external factors, product categories and situational factors, request and needs and feelings after shopping. Image and colour of product, smelling of shop, discounts, the music, interest of salesperson and window dressing also have effects on impulsive buying behaviour. Additionally these unplanned purchasing happens for the familiar brands by the consumers. It is aimed to contribute the literature and to guide the companies developing advices in marketing management field in this study.
