STEM TEMELLİ ETKİNLİKLERİN FEN BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ FEN, MATEMATİK, MÜHENDİSLİK VE TEKNOLOJİ İLE 21. YÜZYIL BECERİLERİNE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARINA ETKİSİ
Bu çalışmanın amacı STEM temelli etkinliklerin fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının fen, matematik, mühendislik-teknoloji ve 21. yüzyıl becerilerine yönelik tutumlarına etkisini incelemektedir. Çalışmada nicel ve nitel yöntemlerin bir arada olduğu karma bir araştırma yöntemi olan açıklayıcı model kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, 2017-2018
eğitim-öğretim yılı güz yarıyılında Eğitim Fakültesinin Fen Bilgisi Eğitimi programının üçüncü sınıfında öğrenim gören 22 öğretmen adayıdır. Veri toplama araçları olarak
STEM tutum ölçeği ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde t testi ve içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğretmen adaylarının fen, mühendislik-teknoloji ve 21. yüzyıl becerilerine yönelik tutumlarının arttığı, ancak matematiğe yönelik tutumlarının azaldığı tespit edilmiştir ve STEM-temelli etkinliklerin
fen eğitimi için gerekli ve gerçek hayat problemlerini çözmede faydalı oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca öğretmen adayları bu çalışmada öğrendikleri etkinlikleri gelecekteki
meslek yaşamlarında da uygulamak istediklerini belirtmişlerdir.
