Pozitif psikoterapi bağlamında geliştirilen ergenler için amaçları genişletme grup rehberliği programının etkililiğinin incelenmesi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Pozitif Psikoterapi bağlamında, ergenler için geliştirilen amaçları genişletme grup rehberliği programının etkililiğinin incelenmesidir. Amaçları genişletme programı, deney ve kontrol gruplu ön-test, sontest deneysel deseninde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada programın etkililiğini değerlendirmek amacıyla Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği ve Pozitif Psikoterapi Bağlamında Yaşam Amaçları Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, Anadolu Lisesine devam eden, deney ve kontrol grubunda 9’ar ergen olmak üzere toplam 18 ergen ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Program, 45’er dakikalık 9 oturumda yürütülmüştür. Verilerin analizinde Mann-Whitney U-Testi ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, yaşam boyu amaçlar edinme konusunda deney grubundaki ergenlerin kontrol grubundaki ergenlere göre, anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştıkları sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca program, deney grubundaki ergenlerin yaşam doyumunu artırmıştır. Programın sağladığı katkılarından dolayı, okullarda kullanılabileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Investigating the effectiveness of extending goals group guidance program for adolescents with respect to positive psychotherapy

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of extending goals group guidance program for adolescents with respect to positive psychotherapy in a non-clinical sample. The method of this study was the two (experiment and control) groups pretest-posttest design. Adolescents’ Life Goals Scale with Respect to Positive Psychotherapy and Life Satisfaction Scale were used in this research study. The sample consisted of 18 (9 for the experimental group and 9 for the control group) adolescents who were high school students. The study was conducted at nine sittings and each session took about 45 minutes. Results show that the adolescents who were in the experiment group were differentiated with respect to control group for determining life goals, and also just only their life satisfactions were improving. In the future, this program could be used in school counseling curriculum for determining adolescents’ life goals.
