Ozon Gazı ile Ağartma İşleminin Etkinliğinin ve Renk Bileşenleri Üzerine Etkilerinin Değerlendirilmesi

Giriş ve Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı ozon gazı ile yapılan ağartma işleminin Munsell renk sistemindeki renk değişim bileşenleri üzerine etkilerini hidrojen peroksit ile karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirmektir. Yöntem ve Gereçler: Sığır üst çene birinci keser dişlerinden bukkal kesit alınarak 24 epoksi rezin diş örneği hazırlanmıştır. Örneklerin başlangıç renk ölçümü spektrofotometre kullanılarak ölçülmüştür. Örneklerin tamamı çözünebilir kahve içeren renklendirici solüsyonda 96 saat süreyle etüvde bekletilmiştir. Renklendirilen örnekler ağartma işlemleri için rastgele iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Renk ölçüm işlemi tekrarlanmıştır. Ağartma uygulaması %35 hidrojen peroksit içeren ofis tipi ağartma materyali ve ağartma işlemi özel ayarı olan 600 ppm ozon gazı üretebilen dental ozon jeneratörü kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Renk ölçümü tekrarlanmıştır. L*, a*, b* değerleri kullanılarak ∆E, ∆L*, ∆a* ve ∆b hesaplanmıştır. İstatistiksel değerlendirmede Shapiro-Wilk, Levene, Friedman ve Mann-Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır (p3,7). Evaluation of the Bleaching Effectiveness and the Effects on Color Parameters of Ozone Gas

Introduction: This study aims to evaluate the effects of ozone on color parameters of the Munsell color system in comparison with hydrogen peroxide. Methods: Twenty-four samples were prepared from the buccal surfaces of bovine maxillary incisors. The initial color of the samples was measured with a spectrophotometer. All samples were incubated for 45hours in a discoloration solution containing instant coffee. Color measurements were repeated. The samples were randomly divided into two groups (n=12). Bleaching procedures were carried out using office-type bleaching material containing 35% hydrogen peroxide and a dental ozone generator has a special bleaching setting capable of producing 600 ppm ozone gas. Color measurements were repeated. ∆E, ∆L *, ∆a *, and ∆b were calculated from L*, a* and b* values. Statistical evaluation was performed with Shapiro-Wilk, Levene, Friedman, and Mann Whitney U tests (p 3.7).
