Metaplazik ürotelial lezyon-nefrojenik adenom

Nefrojenik adenom klinik olarak olduğu kadar histopatolojik olarak ta malignite ile karışabilen ilginç bir reaktif epiteliyal lezyondur. Farklı histolojik formlarda gözlenir ve rekürrensleri sıktır. Bu çalışmada dört erkek olguya ait dokuz nefrojenik adenom biyopsisi yeniden değerlendirilerek, klinik ve histopatolojik özellikleri sunulmuştur. Olguların biri dışında tümüne mesane karsinomu nedeniyle cerrahi girişim yapılmıştır. Dört olgunun üçünde nefrojenik adenom rekürrensi görülmüştür. Nefrojenik adenom görece nadir bir lezyondur ve arada pleomorfik hücrelerin de izlenebileceği polimorfik (polipoid veya papiller, tübüler ve kistik) görüntü sergileyebileceği için ayırıcı tanıda göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.

Metaplasic urothelial lesion-nephrogenic adenoma

Nephrogenic adenoma is a reactive epithelial lesion which may be confused with malignancy, regarding both clinical and histopathological aspects. It may show different histologic appearances and recurrences are frequent. In this study, nine biopsy materials of four male patients with nephrogenic adenoma were re-evaluated and clinical and histopathologic findings were presented. All of the cases except one had a history of surgical procedure because of bladder carcinoma. The recurrences of nephrogenic adenoma were detected in the three of four cases. Nephrogenic adenoma is a relatively rare lesion and because it may show polymorphic (polipoid or papillary, tubular and cystic) appearance with random pleomorphic cells, we conclude that this lesion should be considered in differential diagnosis.
