114 alt ekstremitede, arleria prof'unda femoris'in (APF) arleria femoralis'ten (AF) doğuş yönü, orijininin ligamentum inguinale'ye (Ll) uzaklığı incelenmiştir. Ayrıca APF'nin dallarının orijin/erindeki farklılıklar incelenmiş ve delici dallarının sayısı ve bunların APF'nin orijinine olan uzaklıkları araştırılmıştır APF'nin orijininin ligamentum inguinale'nin orta noktasına olan ortalama uzaklığı 3.7 cm bulunmuştur. APF'in %34.4 oranında posterolateral, %39 posterior, %21.9 lateral, %4.7 posteromedial olarak AF' den doğduğu saptanmıştır. Arteria circumflexa femoris lateralis (ACFL)'in orijininin ligamentum inguinale'ye uzaklığı 5.78 cm, arteria circumflexa femoris medialis (ACFM)'inki 5.27 cm'dir. ACFL %75.4, ACMF %70 oranında APF'den köken almıştır. Delici dallardan 3. delici arterin %88.4 ve 4. delici arterin %27 oranında görüldüğü bulunmuştur.

The origin site of the deep femoral artery (APF) from the femoral artery and its origin from the midpoint of inguinal ligament have been investigated in 114 lower extremities. Differences of the origin of the deep femoral artery and the number of the perforant arteries and their distance from the deep femoral artery have been studied. The distance of the origin of APF from the midpoint ofinguinale ligament has been found 3.7 cm it has been found that APF arise from AF %34.4 posterolateral, %39 posterior, %21.9 lateral, %4.7 posteromedial. The distance of the origin of lateral circumflex artery from the midpoint of inguinal ligament is 5.78 cm and medial circumflex artery's 5.27. Lateral circumflex artery has arised directly from the femoral artery in 75.4 % of the cases and the medial circumflex artery in 70%. Third perforating artery in %88.4 of the cases and fourth perforating artery in %27 has been found.
