Bir hadisenin hukuki boyutu ele alınırken sağlıklı bir değerlendirme yapabilmek için o olayı çerçeveleyen sosyal olguları da dikkate almak gerekir. Aksi takdirde mesele tek taraflı olarak ele alındığı için anlaşılırlığı zorlaşacak ve mesele karmaşık hale gelecektir. Para vakıfları ile ilgili subjektif değerlendirmelerin altında yatan sebep de budur. Bu araştırmanın özünü ilk dönemlerde fazla tartışmalara konu olmayan para vakıflarının, Osmanlı döneminde ilgi odağı haline gelmesindeki amiller oluşturmaktadır. 

In order to make a definite assessment when judging the legal aspect of an event, it is necessary to take into consideration social phenomena which is framing that event. Otherwise, the issue will be difficult to understand because the issue is unilaterally handled and it will become complicated. This is also the underlying reason for subjective evaluations of money foundations. The aim of this research is to establish the reasons that money foundations that were not subject to much controversy during the early periods became the focus of interest in the Ottoman period.
