A Theoretical Approach to the Roots of Violence Behaviors at Schools

It is explained that the tendency for violence at school in our country has been increasing more and more. Some claims which argue that schools are no longer secure places points out the anxiety giving dimensions of the subject. In this research, some risk factors of school violence will be mentioned and some probable solution suggestions to the problem will be discussed. Here, as the causes of violence at school, some factors that give priority to school and some other factors that come forward during the education process in school are underlined. This research does not only discuss the violence phenomenon within only school perspective but also focuses on the individual, family and social origins and vision of the violence.
