Aile İşletmelerinde Süreklilik Yönetimi

İşletmelerde süreklilik yönetimi, bilgi ve işletme sürekliliğini sağlamaya dönük çabaları ifade etmektedir. Bilgi sürekliliğinin sağlanması işletme sürekliliğinin sağlanmasının ön koşuludur. Bu çalışmanın amacı işletmelerdeki süreklilik yönetimi sürecini kavramsallaştırmak ve sürecin aile işletmeleri açısından ifade ettiği anlamı açıklığa kavuşturmaktır. Çalışmada öncelikle literatür değerlendirmesine dayalı olarak süreklilik yönetiminin temel konuları ele alınmakta, işletmelerdeki süreklilik yönetimi süreci değerlendirilmekte ve bir süreklilik yönetimi modeli geliştirilmektedir. Daha sonra ise süreklilik yönetimi aile işletmeleri bağlamında incelenerek bu işletmelerdeki süreklilik yönetimi için kavramsal bir model oluşturulmakta, çalışmanın araştırmacılara ve yöneticilere yönelik çıkarımları tartışılmaktadır.

Continuity Management in Family Firms

Continuity management encompasses the efforts related to maintaining the knowledge, consequently, business continuity. Managing knowledge continuity is a prerequisite for managing business continuity. This article aims to conceptualize the continuity management process in organizations and clarify the implications of continuity management for family firms. Based on a literature review, the article evaluates the process and proposes a model for continuity management in organizations. Then it reviews continuity management in the context of family firms, offers a conceptual model of continuity management for family firms, and concludes by discussing the implications of the study for further research and managerial practice.
